The Arena Foundation Ballet recovers the original choreography by Susanna Egri, under the direct supervision of the author, with dance stars as soloists: Denys Cherevychko, Eleana Andreoudi, Futaba Ishizaki, and Gioacchino Starace. Choreographer Susanna Egri has been following this production of Aida in the Arena since 1982, undertaking assiduous study and careful research to bring to the stage a fine and meticulous work renewed in 2013 that evokes the nineteenth-century taste of the context in which the opera was composed, further highlighting the exceptional nature of the Arena stage enhanced by this performance.
